Coach Outlet Haul

We decided to go to the Gilroy Premium Outlets and I had to stop by Coach. I love Coach! I especially love Coach at a discount! I seem to always find good deals here! They tend to have a clearance table and it's usually 50% off and lately for the past 6 months they have coupons that they give you at the door for an additional 20% off sale items. I found these two and loved them! They are regularly priced at $328 each marked down to $250 then you take half off with an additional 20% and it cost $100 each. Great deal! I'm sold! Great price and great quality! What's not to love? I couldn't decide on which color I wanted more since one of my favorite colors is pink and I'm a signature beige logo fan so I got both! What I like most about these is the middle section where it looks like a coin purse clasp which is ideal since the bag has no zippers so you can keep your wallet hidden and secure. If you have a chance to check out the Coach outlets I highly recommend it. We live about 45 minutes away and it's always worth the trip :)

Doc Martens and Hello Kitty Collab

Remember Doc Martens? Back when I was in high school ('91-'95) I used to wear them all the time they were Black, 8 hole, and Steel Toed. It wasn't the most girlie shoes in the world but they were comfortable and it gave a don't mess with me or I'll kick your butt attitude. Now to mix that with Hello Kitty? I would have worn these with pride. Since you all know I'm a huge Hello Kitty fan. ;) Granted they are flashy but I liked being different. The release date for these are September 1st and will be available at Nordstroms and Sanrio. Prices range from $135-$165 I may get a pair for nostalgia's sake.

My First Louis Vuitton

Today was my Hubby Alex's 32nd birthday so after our birthday dinner we decided to got to Valley Fair Mall to browse. During our drive I started talking about Louis Vuitton and how eventually I would like to own one. He knows my addiction to purses and said we could look around the LV store. I have to admit I was hesitant at first because first it was HIS birthday and second it's a lot of money to spend on a purse. So we ended up going to the LV store and after looking at Speedys I told Alex I would love to have a Damier Ebene Speedy 35 for Christmas (yes I like to plan in advance lol) He looks at me and tells me he's going to get it! After a few moments of us "arguing" back and forth Me: "Are you sure?" Him: Yes! Me: "Are you sure sure?" Him: "Yes! GET IT Babe!!" Hubby to the sales lady: "We'll take it! before she changes her mind!"

So a million thank yous and kisses later...I present my first Louis Vuitton Speedy!

Lost Wedding Band & Gucci Sunglasses Haul

Hey Everyone!! I know I have been MIA for awhile, life has been very hectic and I haven't had much time to blog but I am back! I have to admit I haven't hauled very much but I have picked up a few things which I will share over the course of a few blog entries. I hope everyone has been doing well!

Today I lost my wedding band and I'm so distraught! I can't seem to remember where I placed it. The one comfort I can take solace in is the fact that I know I did lose it at home. Which is great right? but it's like finding a needle in a haystack. I had to tell the Hubby..he was worried but wasn't too upset. I think he knows I'll be beating myself up until I find it. I'm so upset that I've lost my appetite. So what do I do? I distract myself with some retail therapy I take the Hubby to Solstice Boutique to buy him his Carrera aviator sunglasses he's been wanting. We find out they were having a promotion buy one pair of Carreras get a $25 gift card to your next purchase. So he tells me to pick a pair for myself. I try these Gucci's on and the Hubby LOVES them on me. My husband has never had much of an opinion when it comes to accessories so when he said he liked them I got them!

Smiling after I found my ring!! Had to cover my red eyes from the crying!

After I picked these up I got teary eyed, even with a new pair of sunglasses I couldn't help but think of my ring. I don't really care about material items but the ring has such a strong sentimental value. The Hubby assured me I would find it but my mind was racing. So what does he do? He offers to buy me a Louis Vuitton purse. Alex has a heart of gold he hates to see me cry and would do anything for me. This offer made matters worse! I cried even more because of guilt and my carelessness. We decided to head home to search for the ring. After about an hour I finally found it! It was in a purse I used for work. I must have put it in there when settling in after work! I was ecstatic!! Needless to say I will never take off my ring without placing it in my jewelery box! Lesson learned!!

MAC Colour Craft Haul

Hubby got back from his trip today and he decided to take me shopping. I was able to snag the Colour Craft collection early (this is to be released on July 9) so I decided to post up some pics. I pretty much got all the MSF's, eyeshadows, and blushes. I had to pick up the brushes since I absolutely loved the 226 from the BBR collection and the 131 looked intriguing! I will be posting up swatches soon (I got the hubby to volunteer his arm) My impressions of this collection are good! I love the blushes the veining is so pretty! The blushes do have fine shimmer to them which I really like since it gives you a dewy look. As for the eyeshadows the colors are great but you will need a base. I find it nice because you basically get 4 colors in one pot, the 2 main colors and the highlights which compliment each other perfectly. The MSF's are pretty as well. Three of them remind me of the MSF from the BBR collection with the striped look unfortnately I was unable to get the gld veining on my pink MSF but needless to say it goes on very natural and looks great. MAC Naked Honey Haul

I tried to stay away but I couldn't resist this collection. The highlight powders were so pretty! It's too bad that the shimmer comes off :( but I still really like the colors. I ended up buying the salve for my hubby since he has dry skin and so far he likes it! The salve has a honey type scent to it so it isn't too overwhelming. Did you pick up anything from this collection?

The Brush Guard Review

I LOVE these!! I tend to throw my brushes into my makeup bag when I travel and they tend to get smashed and frayed. I know I need to take better care of my brushes since eveyone knows MAC brushes aren't exactly cheap. My solution? The brush guard! These sell for $5.50 on www.thebrushguard.com they have multiple sizes and for this price it is so worth it! I can't wait to try these out after I wash my brushes as my 217 tends to fray and have stray hairs after I clean it. Basically these are made of a stretchable mesh material that you slide from the handle to the bristles and it keeps the shape of your brush and protects it from getting snagged/squished. I love these so much I plan to have a contest in July and have this as one of my prizes. Stay tuned and I hope you get a chance to check these out!

My Makeup Storage

My subbies ask me all the time how do I store my makeup. So here it is! I have to admit it is a work in progress. I used to keep them in my traincases but as my collection has gotten larger so now I use storage containers with drawers from Target and Walmart. I have seen better storage methods on youtube from people who use lipstick holders, and cabinets etc so it is something I will be looking into soon.

I have gotten rid of quite a bit of makeup I have tested different brands and have been allergic to almost all of them. The few that don't bother my skin are MAC, Chanel, Urban Decay (Shadows I'm okay with..the lippes not so good) and Everyday Minerals (Has to be applied dry and not using fix+ with it or I break out). I am thinking of doing a collection video just as soon as I find time as I will have to break it down into 2 parts. How do you store your makeup? I'm always looking for new ideas! ^_^

MAC Style Warrior Haul & Swatches

Well I tried to go without hauling and well I failed miserably!! I knew this Style Warrior Collection was coming out and I had to admit I love the animal print so I decided I had to get it! I especially love the bronzers..I remember using Refined Golden for my wedding makeup and it looked so pretty and natural. Another favorite of mine is the Pink Rebel lustre drops it looks great on the cheeks or even in foundation to give you a nice dewy finish. The solar bits are so pretty the pigmentation on them are amazing! I just used a little on my eyes and it came out so vivid. Hope you had a chance to pick up a few things from the collection. ^_^

My Nail Polish Collection & Storage

In response to requests to see my nail polish collection here it is! ^_^ I love nail polish! My favorite brand is China Glaze. I do have OPI and MAC but I find them a bit on the streaky side. Not to mention I have to apply 3-4 coats in order to get the color the same as the bottle. I found my 60 count nail polish racks from Transdesign.com for $22.95 and they also sell China Glaze and OPI at reasonable prices. They sell the CG collections in packages so if you want a whole set you can get one for less than $20 it's a great deal.

L'Occitane en Provence Hand Cream

This is a must have for anyone who has dry/sensitive skin. L'Occitane en Provence Hand Cream goes on so smooth and not greasy. It is very rich and creamy and it lasts! I just use a dime size amount and it's more than enough. you can buy this from Sephora for $25.00 for the 150ml tube or $10 for the smaller one. I hope you get a chance to try this product out I highly recommend it. ^_^

Kirkland Daily Facial Cleansing Towelettes Review

After watching Xsparkage's video on Kirkland Daily Facial Cleansing Towelettes I decided to try these out. I have used Kirkland products in the past and they have never let me down so it was no surprise when these worked out for me. I usually use MAC Wipes to remove my makeup and they work well they are pricey though for $25.00 for 100 sheets. Kirkland Cleansing Towelettes are $20? for 150 sheets (I lost my receipt but it was less than $25) I must admit I like the way they package the product. The Kirkland wipes come in a box which has 4 small packages of 30 wipes with a plastic lid and 2 packets of 15 (which have a resealable top) I find this great because it keeps your wipes moist and fresh. You can find these at Costco and they are located by the toiletries aisle.

China Glaze Haul

Sally's Beauty Supply is having a sale on their China Glaze Nail Polishes buy 2 get 1 free. This sale is going to be going on until the end of April. Now you all know I love MAC but I have to admit MAC's nail polish is not up to par. I find them very streaky and I have to apply multiple coats to get an opaque finish. China Glaze on the other hand is amazing! It goes on smooth and it's very pigmented. I brought my China Glaze polish in Spontaneous to the salon for my manicure and pedicure and I received alot of compliments on it. Honestly how can you go wrong? The price is affordable and it's great quality! Hope you guys have a chance to check it out! ^_^

This collection is so pretty! All the pastels are perfect for spring. I just wish the glosses were a bit more pigmented, but if you layer it over the lippies is should give it that extra kick. I couldn't believe how busy my MAC store was. It seemed as though this collection was really popular. My store had already sold out of the Saint Germain and the Peppermint Patti nail polish. Just some random stuff I got in the past couple of weeks. Costco has great deals on Stila I bought the contouring trio for $9.97 It's not bad since the kit comes with the contour palette, a powder brush, and 2 lip glaze sticks. The lip glaze sticks are a bit on the sheer side but the colors are pretty.

I went to Michael's and bought some brushes and plan to do a review/comparison on the Loew-Cornell brushes vs. MAC brushes this weekend. I have to say I am in LOVE with Lush's Porridge Soap! This stuff smells awesome plus it's great for exfoliating! I'm so addicted to it! I did a Back 2 MAC and got the 4 MAC Shadows for free I'm so proud of myself I only bought a Technakohl liner. I'm thinking of skipping the Grand Duos collection but I must admit the Sugar Sweet Collection looks promising I really like the MSFs, Shadesticks and e/s colors since I don't have them in my collection yet. I hope to pick them up on Friday (My day off).

Essence of Beauty Brushes and 66 Lip Color Palette (eBay)

I've heard great things about the Essence of Beauty brushes so when I visited my sister who lives in So. Cal I went to CVS and picked these up. These are the travel sizes and they are so SOFT! I love them! The quality is great and the price is great as well less than $10 for the set these are so worth it. If you live near a CVS I suggest you check it out.

I ordered the 66 lip palette from eBay after seeing some reviews on YouTube and got this palette for less than $18 including shipping. The seller lives in Hong Kong but shipping took a week so it wasn't too bad. The colors are so vibrant (I'll do swatches later) ^_^

I love these colors! I got these off ebay which at first made me nervous since you hear about all these stories about fake pigments but I was relieved to find that these were authentic. Circa Plum is awesome! The color is so vibrant even when applied dry. I know it's being re-released with the Rose Romance Collection which should be out sometime in April. I'm hoping to create a look using these colors.

MAC Adoring Carmine Eye Brush Set $37.50

The hubby and I decided to take advantage of the great weather and made a trip to the Vacaville outlets. While he was shopping at J. Crew for more work clothes. I went over to Coach and I noticed there was a line up at the door, I asked one of the ladies in line what was going on and she told me they were having a huge sale and that items were 50% off discounted outlet prices. At first I told myself I'm just going to look and that I had a bunch of Coach purses collecting dust in my closet (Yes, I'm a desginer purse addict too) and that I didn't need another one.

I stepped into the store and saw these cute multi colored signature wallets and matching shoulder sack and gave in! :P These were so cute and such a great deal! I swear I wasn't the only one stocking up! People keep saying recession this and recession that...but let me tell you, you wouldn't think our economy was in trouble if you saw how many ladies had their arms full with Coach items. I looked like the most conservative person there with only 3 items! LOL

I couldn't go to the Vacaville outlets without visiting the CCO. They pretty much had the same stuff from before but this time I decided to pick up MAC's Adoring Carmine Eye brush set. I wanted to get a travel 209 brush so this was perfect. The quality of course isn't the same as the full sized versions but it will work in a pinch. Overall it was a great day hubby and I spent the day together, enjoyed the sun, and found some great deals!

MAC Pigment Haul

I'm trying to build my kit so I thought I'd pick up more pigments. Luckily I have a MAC Pro Store close by (San Francisco) and they were able to ship it to me with next day delivery. I have to admit I'm so excited to use these. My subbies ask me if they need to have a MAC Pro card in order to buy/order from the Pro store but it isn't necessary. What I did was called the store directly and chose the colors from the Pro site. Anyone can purchase PRO products. I swatched these with MAC Fix+ the pics look small but if you click on them they will enlarge. My fave is Ruby Red ^_~

My First Lush Haul

I'm still feeling sick today, so I asked my husband to pick me up a few things from Lush. I've been watching YouTube videos on Lush hauls and their products and decided to try it out. I have really dry skin and I've heard great things about their Porridge Bars (these smell so good!) apparently it helps reduce redness. I also picked up a couple of Massage Bars (Peach and Therapy) and when you buy 2 you get a free Lush tin. The "I should Coco" soap bar smells like a Pina Colada and has coconut in it so it helps with expholiating. The shower emotibombs smell refreshing and I've heard they can really help perk you up.

So far I am really loving the products. They gave 3 generous samples for me to try, Chanty Pot lotion, Lemony Flutter Cuticle butter, and Angels on Bareskin (Facial Cleanser) check out their website www.lush.com the prices are decent and the amount of product you get is generous. ^_^

It's been a long time no haul but I'm expecting a package soon from MAC and am planning on making a video on Friday..it will be a collective haul since I did some shopping at the CCO.

Some of my subscribers have been asking me to do a makeup collection video but I think it may be easier to put up pics on my blog...well we'll see what I end up doing, I still have to organize all my makeup but it's been so hard since I'm working like crazy and doing a ton of overtime. I shouldn't complain though because of the economy we are in. I'm lucky to have a job. We should all count our blessings.

LOL I'm hoping the refills from the Monogram Collection will fit the HK Kouture compact. I can't resist! ^_^

I was at the mall with the hubby and my lips were chapped and of course I forgot my lip balm. So what do I see??? a MAC store...I think well why not get a lip conditioner...and bam! I'm hooked! Of course the mua asks if I've seen the new HK line and I notice on display there is the HK bracelet...and it's really cute! So I picked that up as well as Popster lip conditioner and Nice Kitty l/g which I have to admit it looked really bright but actually went on pretty toned down. I remember watching the reviews on the new Studio Sculpt line from the Well-Defined Collection and thought I'd try it out. The reviews have been pretty positive and I am looking for something a little on the lighter side instead of using my MAC Studio fix fluid all the time. So the mua color matched me with The Studio Sculpt Foundation in NC 30 which is surprising because I thought I was an NC35 and she gave me an NW25 for the Studio Sculpt concealar. Last night my after finishing my MAC HK Haul video I realized I was missing something. I noticed a few girls from YT had these cute HK bags with their orders. Now you all know how I am all about MAC so I have to admit I was really bummed about not getting it especially since I had preordered my stuff and usually the girls are really good about including things like that with my order. I called the MAC store's manager and she told me her location as well as other SF bay area stores didn't get them and wouldn't be getting them. In my head I'm like no offense but that's a bunch of BS especially since I know of some fellow YouTubers living in the bay area who got these bags.

Needless to say I decided to call up another MAC store I'm a regular at and they told me they would hook me up. I was so impressed on how they handled things I decided to bring my mom with me since I knew she wanted to get a bunch of items. (My mom is just as MAC crazy as me, she was the one who got me into MAC in the first place) I went to my usual MAC mua and my mom ordered like over $200 worth of products. (Just goes to show you that if you treat your customers right you will get more business/incentives)

My hubby then asks me what I want for V-day I told him I just got the HK stuff and I'm happy with my purchases. He then tells the MAC mua to please get me what I whatever I want. So me and the mua gawk at him for a second then she tells me "Girl you're so lucky your hubby spoils you" so I then go off with the mua to pick out some stuff. Meanwhile I didn't realize my hubby took off. Once we were ready to checkout he popped back into the store and bought me my items I noticed he was holding a couple of boxes. As we left the store I opened the boxes and inside were 2 Hello Kitty dolls he made from Build a Bear. I was so touched! he knows how much I love Hello Kitty (I've been obsessed with Sanrio since I was 9) When I asked him if he was embarrassed to do that, he told me he wasn't the only guy doing that but that there was a bunch of guys making plush dolls for their wives and girlfriends so he felt more at ease. He is so sweet and I really appreciate him taking the time and effort to do all of this for me. I'm truly a lucky girl!

I just want to say thank you to my wonderful husband for my beautiful gifts...gift or no gift you mean the world to me and I love you so much. Happy Valentine's day baby!

I finally got a day off to pick up my stuff from MAC. The girls at the store were kind enough to hold stuff for me ^_^ I can't tell you how excited I am that MAC collaborated with Sanrio! It would be so amazing if they did other characters too like Little Twin Stars, My Melody, Chococat, and the retired Tuxedo Sam. I hope you all were able to pick up something from the collection. The packaging on this collection was amazing! Far better than the Dame Edna collection. In fact this collection is so cute I may end up going back to MAC for more. ^_^

I was asked to show my collection of MAC paint pots and thought I would put it up on my blog. I picked up 6 more today (Delft, Moss Scape, Fresco Rose, Rubenesque, Constructivist, and Indianwood) as I wanted to expand my collection, I have to admit these are so much better than the MAC paints because you can control the amount you use plus you don't waste your product unlike the tubes of paint a small squeeze and you waste so much. I wish I was able to get the 2 that came with the Alexander McQueen Collection and Fafi's Girl Friendly. I can't wait to try out my new ones. Stay tuned! ^_^

Rainy Day Blues

Doh!! It figures my one weekend where my hubby and I are free and guess what the weatherman says...RAIN!! Well it looks like a pizza and movie night for us. Oh well..I figured I would play a bit more with my makeup and try to practice the art of pigment LOL I used MAC Rollickin' paintpot, MAC Pigments (pressed) in Mutiny (Inner Lid), Bell Bottom Blue (Outer lid), and Dark Soul (outer V) with MAC #7 Lashes

Green with Envy

Inspiration comes from anything...mine was a hater..LOL Funny how I thrive on people that challenge me. At any rate I thought I would play around with my pressed pigments (they are so much easier to use than the loose form) and I came up with this. I used MAC Paint pot in Blackground as my base and MAC Pigments in Old Gold (Lid), Vintage Gold (inner lid), Steel Blue (outer v) and the highlight from my coastal scents neutral palette with #7 MAC Lashes.

All that Glitters (ELF and CS Shimmer Palette)

So I thought I would try something a little different for this entry. My subbies have been asking me for a long time to do tutorials but I have to admit I am too camera shy. So the next best thing I can do is do some looks and share it with you all. What I used for this look is ELF's eyeshadow stick in smoke for the base. I then used the bronze shimmer color from the Coastal Scents shimmer palette on the inner to mid lid. I used the black shimmer e/s from the CS shimmer palette to the outer V and a light gold highlight. I then added Black track fluid line and ELF Diamond lashes. I'm still in the midst of playing around with different looks but I hope to post more soon!

Only a few more weeks till MAC's Hello Kitty line!! I'm so excited!!

My MAC Brushes

I've almost completed my MAC brush collection. People think I'm nuts to spend so much on my brushes but I remember when I was in high school my first MAC brushes were the MAC 224 and 238 and both cost a pretty penny (I was making only $6.75 an hour working at the dry cleaners) I saved up to buy the 2 brushes and it was so worth it. I got those back in '93 and up till now they are in excellent shape! I am amazed at the quality of these brushes, they will last a long time if you take care of them properly. Back then I wished I could have the whole collection of brushes and well now that I work and am able to afford them I figure why the heck not?

My motto is Study hard so you can Work hard and Play hard.

MAC + Hello Kitty = LOVE!!!

I'm notorious for buying a whole MAC collection if I like it and this will be no exception! I have been a fan of Hello Kitty since '83 and when I heard MAC was going to release this collection in February all I could say is "it took them long enough!" The colors are so cute! (Thanks for the pics Specktra) The colors remind me of the Heatherette mixed with the Manish collection. Needless to say I will be the first one at the MAC store opening day. I especially want the HK with Swarovski compacts (it would match my Blackberry) Gotta love the packaging! Hope you are all as excited as I am! ^_^

Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment Review

So after seeing a few reviews for Fresh's Sugar Lip Treatment on YouTube I decided to pick this up. All I can say is that after using this I will NEVER I repeat NEVER buy another Chapstick or lip balm again! This is AMAZING! I love it! I suffer from dry lips during the winter season and this baby moisturizes! It's enriched with sugar, antioxidant oils, and vitamins C & E. The smell and taste reminds me of lemon meringue pie (yum!) The packaging is adorable! It's made of metal and the top is a screw on top so you never have to worry about it getting dislodged. I picked up mine at Sephora for $22.50 it is a little pricey but it's so worth it!
